Premier League 2012/13: Top 10 Transfers Of The Summer (So Far...)

5. Emmanuel Adebayor to Tottenham - £5 Million

As a blue this deal has my opinion split. Adebayor is a talented player no doubt, however his attitude on the pitch reflects badly to those in the stands, yes he has moments of brilliance, but they are few and far between when he is not on form. However I do wish we had gotten more money out of Tottenham for the man who was one of the top scorers in the EPL last season, and a man Manchester City paid Arsenal £25 Million for back in the summer of 2009. Adebayor had a fantastic season last year for Spurs and linked up very well with the likes of Bale, Modric and Lennon. For a big man his touch and close control is impeccable and I have no doubt he will be among the top scorers in the league this season, all in all a bargain transfer for White Hart Lane club.
