Swooping in right at the last minute, Huddersfield very nearly pipped fellow newcomers and Delftware exponents Brighton to the honour of absolute worst kit of the new season. The pair of them have both conspired to make memorable first stints in the Premier League as dreadful on the eye as possible.

Where to start with this calamity? Puma's dot-matrix fascination has blighted nearly all of their new templates, but applying it to stripes is borderline criminal. There's no distance one can approach the Terrier's new kit without it appearing blurry. Presumably, the inspiration came from kitchen roll; hopefully for Huddersfield fans, they'll be mopping up the opposition rather than the other way around.

The only saving grace is the back, which is allowed stripes, albeit these abysmally s**t ones. The massive blue placard in the middle featuring a random assortment of Chinese characters is of course, an online gambling company. The first of many.
