Premier League 2018: 10 Promoted Players To Watch Next Season

8. Stefan Johansen (Fulham)

Norway's Stefan Johansen spent several years in his homeland before making the move to the United Kingdom in 2014, joining Scottish side Celtic. The deal proved to be a sound bit of business for the club, with Johansen becoming a regular in the side and helping Celtic continue their domestic dominance.

In August of 2016, he made a switch to Fulham and has since proven to be an integral part of the London club, contributing with 19 goals in 80 league appearances. Last season, he scored 8 times and set up 9 more for his teammates, ending the season with some impressive passing statistics too.

Able to play as both a defensive and attacking midfielder, Johansen does a little bit of everything for Fulham and likes to push forward and get involved with attacking moves. Timing his tackles is one of Johansen's weaknesses, and he picked up 12 yellows last year, mostly for bad challenges, but he's an exceptionally hard-working player, highly valued by the fans and always dangerous from set plays. In short, he's exactly the sort of player they'll be desperately hoping to keep fit and firing over the course of the upcoming season.
