Premier League 2018: 10 Promoted Players To Watch Next Season
7. Léo Bonatini (Wolves)
Part of Wolves' big transfer push last summer, Brazilian forward Léo Bonatini proved to be one of many smart signings for the West Midlands outfit. He originally only joined the club on loan from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal, but after scoring 12 goals in the Championship, Wolves made the deal a permanent one, signing the 24-year-old up for four more years.
The Wanderers have a whole lot of attacking talent in their ranks, so Bonatini didn't start every game last season, but always sought to make an impact whenever he was on the pitch. As well as scoring 12 times, he provided 5 assists for his teammates too. Tall and strong, Bonatini's main strengths are his ability to hold up play and muscle opposition defenders away from the ball, and he can often be seen tracking back to help out defensively too.
Question marks remain about his ability to adapt to the Premier League, and the Brazilian did go through a bit of a goal drought towards the end of the season, but fans will be hoping to see Bonatini fit and firing when their first game gets underway against Everton on August 11.
