3. Tom Ince To Liverpool
Before the window opened, Liverpool had apparently agreed a deal to bring the winger back to Anfield, only for Blackpool to get cold feet. During this month,
Liverpool have courted him still, trying to convince his club that he's only worth around £6 million, rather than the reported £8 million Blackpool want. Yet this war of attrition might have backfired, with
Swansea and
Reading also now showing an interest. Swansea will be able to offer fantastic football and maybe even a higher league finish than Liverpool if star man Michu has his way. Reading will be able to offer him a bumper wage deal, and a transfer fee to match. The deciding factor could be that Ince spent much of his youth career at Anfield, and would instantly become familiar with the club once again. However, with Sterling coming through the ranks now, and the recent signing of Sturridge to attack the other flank, where would he fit in? This problem is only exacerbated by the capture of Philippe Coutinho, leaving Ince little chance of staking a first-team claim. But, Reading are heavily tipped to be relegated this year, and the player won't want to go straight back to the Championship.
