Premier League: 5 January Transfers That Won't Happen

2. Theo Walcott To Leave Arsenal

The media is on the verge of panic, as they try to decide whether or not this man will become the latest player at Arsenal to be embroiled in, if history is anything to go by, what will be an interesting transfer saga for a month, then no one cares for a couple of months because it drags on while the player says how much he loves the club, then we care again when he leaves. I would love to know which clubs are supposedly after him, but more importantly, why? Is Theo Walcott really that good a player that he deserves his own transfer saga? With the emergence of the Ox, he's not even the young quick winger that England will pin their hopes on for the next few years. After the recent marquee surrounding the 5 British players that have recently signed contract extensions at Arsenal, namely Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Carl Jenkinson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Kieran Gibbs, it's fair to say that Walcott will surely be convinced of Arsenal's future by now, and is simply biding his time as he waits for a bigger wage, which quite frankly, I don't think he's earned yet.
