18th: QPR
He came in at Tottenham, a club reduced to a laughing stock, a club which rival fans were organising relegation parties for after Juande Ramos tried his best to sabotage the London club, but this might be too much for even Harry Redknapp. The esteemed manager arrives at Loftus Road after yet another unsuccessful stint at a club from Mark Hughes, and has his work cut out to rescue the season. A summer of panic-buying pretty much every player they wanted but didn't need (see Rob Green's month-long tenure as QPR goalkeeper) has left them with a squad of players who look like they're there for the money, not for the club or their love of football. Bosingwa's recent refusal to appear as a substitute is testament to this. And yet, Redknapp is fantastic at getting the best out of players, especially going forward. Taarabt in particular has been given a new lease of life as a playmaker 'in the hole,' a position in which he loved Bale to play in at his previous club. QPR have managed to win a game now, but getting your first win after 17 games is the epitome of relegation form, and this task seems too much. Sorry QPR fans.
