3rd Place - Chelsea
Last season, Chelsea endured a torrid domestic season that saw them sack their manager half way through the campaign and finish in the unenviable doldrums of sixth. They surely won't finish there again this term though, will they? Only the excellent from of Newcastle kept them from fifth place last season, but I can't see the three time Prem Champs losing out to them again. Chelsea will be a slightly different animal this time out. Club legend Didier Drogba joins Jose Bosingwa and Soloman Kalou in the list of departures, with Eden Hazard and Oscar joining from Lille for £32million and Internacional for £25million respectively. Victor Moses may be on his way from Wigan, whilst rumours persist that a deal for Brazilian Hulk may yet be completed. Chelsea have often had quite an aged squad, but the injection of youth with Hazard and Oscar plus the emergence of Daniel Sturridge and Ryan Bertrand looks to abate that. Crucially, that could stand them in good stead to launch a serious assault on the title, though a lot of that could depend on Fernando Torres, and whether or not he can build on his performances in helping Spain to the European Championship this summer and rediscover his Anfield form.
