4th Place - Tottenham
Tottenham's success this term may well depend on whether or not they hold on to playmaker Luka Modric. They have apparently
rejected a final "take it or leave it" offer from Real Madrid, believed to be in the region of 30million. If they can hold on to their key players, they stand a great chance this season. They may well have done better last time out, had former Boss Harry Redknapp not so inappropriately had his head turned by the FA. Spurs fans will be wishing the whole sorry saga regarding Redknapp's availability as England manager had never happened, and may well wonder what could have been. They were five matches without a win up until April, allowing rivals Arsenal to pip them to third in the last month of the season. With former Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas now at the helm after Redknapps unceremonious eviction from the club, they will be hoping for more consistency. However, the new man in charge will be looking to improve on his dreadful spell at Chelsea, which saw him fired midway through the season. Gareth Bale is always a threat, and Emanual Adebayor was a tonic last season.
