Club: Liverpool Despite picking up an injury, which sidelined him for a few months, Sturridge still ranks joint 3rd on the Top Scorers table, bagging 11 goals in his 14 Premier League appearances so far. He started the season on fire, standing in for the suspended Suarez and contributing to an excellent start to the season for Brendan Rodgers' side. The injury came at the wrong time just as Sturridge was at the top of his game and scoring goals 'for fun', but luckily for Liverpool, it doesn't seem to have affected his form at all, with the Englishman continuing his lethal form in front of goal since returning to the starting line-up.
