Yes, they almost lost to West Brom at the weekend and had to rely on a controversial penalty but the overriding point is they didn't lose. It had a touch of Ferguson's Manchester United squad about it they had this belief that they would not lose. Every title-winning side is going to drop points, it's the last-minute goals to win the match or even salvage a point that make the team believe they can win the league. Mourinho's home record in the league shows how much of a fortress Stamford Bridge is. The fact that they beat Manchester City is impressive and getting away draws at Manchester United and Tottenham isn't a bad start to the season either. They have a solid defence that is experienced and therefore have the mental strength to not let the title hopes go to their head. Their last six games are also worth noting, they include games against Sunderland, Stoke, Norwich and Cardiff which is not a bad run-in for a team of Chelsea's calibre. There's no chance of the team getting complacent either. Jose has already put key players in their place and they have responded justly. Overall, Chelsea have the strongest team and manager combination, I'm not saying it's set in stone but with Eto'o beginning to get into deadly form and a very strong line-up of midfield players that have flair and strength, The Blues are going to be hard to stop this season.
