5. Get The Best Out Of Granero/Hoilett
When Rangers added flair players like Estaban Granero and Junior Hoilett to their squad over summer there was excitement amongst the fans, and rightly so. Granero has played almost 70 games for Real Madrid and the capture of Hoilett was a genuine coup with many bigger clubs sniffing around Blackburns most exciting prospect. Unfortunately we just havent seen the best of either players so far. Hoilett has severely struggled for form, only starting nine games thats six less than Jamie Mackie and looking a million miles from the exciting young talent who almost kept Rovers up last season. Granero started well and looked a cut above many of his team mates during the opening weeks of the campaign. As the season wore on he also struggled though, drifting in and out of games, and not getting much game time in his favoured position just behind the striker. Furthermore Harry Redknapp doesnt seem to be much of a fan of either player. Hoillet made his first appearance under Redknapp in the shock 1-0 victory over Chelsea in which he also picked up a hamstring injury. Granero has also struggled for game time under the former Spurs boss and didnt even feature in Saturdays draw with Norwich after starting on the bench. In these players Rangers have two attacking talents who certainly have the potential to unlock defences and lay on chance after chance for the strikers as well as grabbing a few themselves. Arry looks to have added some defensive solidity, now he needs to work on their creativity and if Granero and Hoilett can stay fit a prolonged run in the side from either should be fruitful.
