QPR vs Man United: 5 Key Battles That Will Decide The Game

4. De Gea vs Set Pieces

De Gea had an excellent game against Real Madrid, making world class saves all night, resulting in a sudden change of tune from the media who haven't been afraid to cast their doubts on the young Spanish keeper. He 'became a man' according to every pundit in the country, and considering that has been the result of one game, it shows just how good he was. But for De Gea, it's out of his Spanish comfort zone and back to the nippy conditions of Britain on a Saturday afternoon. His dealing with set pieces has been the focal point of any criticsim towards him during his time at Old Trafford, and an experienced manager like Harry Redknapp won't be forgetting that. If Zamora is fit enough to start the game, expect to see him doing his best to bother De Gea at corners. Another big worry for United at set pieces will be the presence of Christopher Samba in the box, a mountain of a man who will more than likely be left for Nemanja Vidic to try and handle. If De Gea can get through tomorrow with no nightmares from corners or free kicks, then it will be another huge triumph for him and indeed for Sir Alex Ferguson, who has kept the faith.
