Rangers Transfers: 10 Players They Must Sign This Summer
2. Scott Allan
At first glance, Scott Allan represents what Rangers typically look for in a young midfielder. Speedy, whether bombing forward or chasing back, Allan also isn't afraid to put a foot in, and can strike from distance, something he has displayed on numerous occasions for Hibernian in the Scottish Championship. In many respects, Allan is in the mould of current Ibrox chief Stuart McCall, a nippy player who wasn't adverse to getting stuck in and could chip in with a vital goal whenever called upon. Now that Rangers have fought off the challenge of Hibs in the Playoffs, the Edinburgh outfit may have to make some cuts financially. If Celtic don't swoop in and look at Allan - who has received rave reviews for his performances this season - Rangers would be the best bet for him. There are also reports that the midfielder is a genuine 'Bluenose' (an affectionate name for Rangers fans), so perhaps he'd even be willing to sidestep the green side of Glasgow and embrace the blue?
