Rangers Transfers: 10 Players They Must Sign This Summer

1. Haris Vuckic

In an earlier entry discussing Remie Streete, it was said that only one of the players signed on loan from Newcastle turned out to have any real value to Rangers, and that man has been Haris Vuckic. The utility player has been invaluable to the Ibrox giants, playing everywhere from wide on the wing to straight through the middle, but his best position is undoubtedly sitting just behind the strikers. Straight away, the fans loved the guy's enthusiasm, and he appears to be feeding off their energy and loving getting to play in a massive stadium. In many respects, Rangers and Newcastle have some things in common, certainly when it comes to the passion of both club's fans, and Vuckic seems to enjoy being a show man out to entertain. 9 goals in 17 games is a decent return, assuredly better than Rangers were getting from some of their other strikers, and he seems to have struck up a good friendship with several of his team-mates. With rumours flying around that Newcastle are set to sell him for £1 million, Glasgow Rangers should get right in there and snap him up, because it'd likely take a lot more than that to get a like-for-like player. If not, maybe another season-long loan would be a sound option? What other players should Rangers be in the hunt for during the Summer transfer window?
