Rangers Transfers: 10 Signings To Secure Promotion

2. Jason Cummings (Hibernian)

It seems like no Rangers vs. Hibernian game can go by without Jason Cummings finding the net for the Edinburgh outfit. Much was made of his former team-mate, Scott Allan, before he decided to knock back the idea of moving to Rangers and sign for Celtic. Hibs manager Alan Stubbs infamously said that his side wouldn't sell to Rangers, but they would for the right price. Being brutally honest, Hibernian are not a big club. Therefore, they're not exactly in the kind of position to knock back good cash offers for even the very best of their players. Whilst it's understandable that the team wouldn't wish to sell to a title rival, they're realistically not going to call off any deal if the offer is good enough. Something Cummings has shown for Hibs is that he's worth the effort. In many respects, Cummings looks a better prospect than Allan ever was. He's quick, extremely mobile and has a fantastic strike on him. Even when Rangers thumped Hibs 6-2 earlier in the season, Cummings looked dangerous whenever he was on the ball. He's the kind of the player that's better to have on your own teamsheet than lining up against it.
