Ranking Chelsea’s Premier League Goalkeepers – Worst to Best

7. Kevin Hitchcock

Chelsea Career: 1988-2001, 135 appearances. The English keeper was in Chelsea's youth ranks in the late 1970s, before being released and moving to Nottingham Forest and Mansfield Town. After performing well in his four years with the club, he returned to Chelsea ostensibly as cover. In his thirteen years with the senior team he made limited appearances, mostly covering the bench. Recurring injuries kept him away from the first-team spot, and the Englishman found himself down the pecking order and unable to feature regularly for the club. Despite his lack of first-team football, Hitchcock's commitment and availability to the club when fit, find him among the more likeable characters to play in goal for Chelsea.
