983085Newcastle United kits of the early 20th century were nothing to write home about. Although compared to the 2015/16 version, they look a hell of a lot more classy.
Variations were at a premium right up until 1958. Sometimes United had a shirt with no collar, or ones with buttons or sting like one above. The Magpies even played in blue shorts between 1897-1920.
