Not only did it come bearing an aesthetically good sponsor, it was for a great cause, yet Sunderland still managed to rake in huge amounts of money for the sponsorship deal with the mega company behind the initiative. There were many good memories in the kit, including the first 3-0 triumph at St. James' Park. It was clean, simple, effective and modern, a very stylish entry to the list of recent Sunderland kits.
