Ranking The Best Football Transfers In Europe During Summer 2019/20
22. Pablo Sarabia - Paris Saint-Germain
Unless you're a La Liga connoisseur, you might not be aware of the talents of Pablo Sarabia. The former Sevilla man has been overshadowed by the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Lionel Messi and Karim Benzema, but that's only due to name value, not the level of his performances.
Sarabia was absolutely sensational for Sevilla last season, racking up an impressive tally of 23 league goals in Spain's top league. There are "top" strikers in Europe who didn't get those sort of numbers. So for a midfielder to end a season with that sort of goal tally and not be at a top club, suggests that he was flying under the radar until Paris Saint-Germain picked him up.
Referring to him as just a goal-scoring midfielder would mean neglecting his other qualities too. His passing is very accurate and he can kill defensive lines if he's given enough time and space. If the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar stay, he could provide them with even more goal-scoring opportunities than they were already getting.
Ligue 1 is a lot less competitive than La Liga and PSG are always strong favourites to win it. However, the one trophy that the French side have failed to win is the Champions League. If he can help push them further into that competition, it won't be very long until he gets the credit he deserves.
