Ranking The Best Football Transfers In Europe During Summer 2019/20
17. Nabil Fekir - Real Betis
Every transfer window seems to involves some speculation on whether or not Nabil Fekir would be on the move. Well finally, the Frenchman has departed Lyon after six seasons and has taken his talents to Real Betis.
With legendary Betis player near the end of his career, Fekir is the perfect replacement for him in the team. The World Cup winner is exceptionally skillful and has the sort of pace that will give full backs headaches in La Liga.
He's also got very good end product with his play. In the last three seasons for Lyon, he's managed to reach double figures with his goals. Those are the sort of numbers any wide player should hope to achieve and the fact that he's done it consistently is very impressive.
The one knock on this deal is that a player of Fekir's talent should be at a higher level team at this point in his career. Betis finished 10th in La Liga last season, so whether or not he can achieve his personal goals with them or if this is a stepping stone to an even bigger team remains to be seen.
