Real Madrid Transfers: 10 Players They Must Sign This Summer

It would be great to see Harry Kane playing for Real Madrid, if only to witness the inevitable s**t-storm that would follow his attempting to dubiously claim that he got the final touch on a shot taken by Cristiano Ronaldo.

The move makes a lot of sense for the European champions too. Karim Benzema played a crucial role in their victory in Kiev (although it would have been markedly less crucial were it not for Loris Karius' brainfart), but he's not getting any younger at 30-years-old.

Kane, by contrast, will turn 25 over the summer. Controversial shoulder antics aside, he's a proven goal-scorer at Premier League level, and this term found the net seven times from seven outings in Europe.

True: he's also a hometown boy, playing for a club at which he is universally adored by fans and teammates (Christian Eriksen excepted) alike. But he's also yet to get his hands on any silverware - and, once again, this career is a relatively short one.
