2. The Robin van Persie Factor
Real Madrid will unleash former Red Devils star Cristiano Ronaldo tomorrow night, but United also have a fairly potent weapon of their own - Robin van Persie. The Dutch goal-machine has been in electric form this season and has scored 23 goals in 31 appearances so far to fire United to the top of the Premier League table and through to the last-16 of the Champions League to boot. Any United fan will tell you though just how lethal Ronaldo is - he has scored 36 goals in 35 appearances this season and yet still missed out on the Ballon D'Or. This encounter will see two of European football's most prodigious goalscorers go head to head, and if RVP finds himself in the same sort of form he has been for the majority of the season, United could win this.
