8. Mbulelo Mabizela
Spurs signed Mabizela as a promising 22 year old from South Africa's biggest club team, Orlando Pirates. Mabizela had impressed in a friendly match between the two clubs that the Pirates actually won 2-1. The defender remained at White Hart Lane for just over a year before being released in October of 2004, having made nine appearances in total and scoring one wonder goal. But, overall, his performances were awful and his disciplinary problems were even worse. He missed training sessions and generally made a nuisance of himself and was shipped out to Norway to play for Valerenga. He has since returned to South Africa, where he played for Mamelodi Sundowns and Platinum Stars before moving to his current club Bidvest Wits. http://youtu.be/WoA-U_zRW_4
