Spurs: 10 Players Who Should Never Have Worn White

2. Andy Booth

Considering the Tottenham squad of 2000-01 had Sergei Rebrov, Chris Armstrong, Les Ferdinand and Steffen Iversen in its ranks, why on Earth Andy Booth was brought in on loan nobody will ever know. At the time, his parent club Sheffield Wednesday had recently been relegated to the second tier of English football and Booth was struggling for a first team place at Hillsborough. At Spurs, he made a total of four appearances, scoring none and having little to no impact, and was soon shipped back to Hillsborough where he would make a minimal impact before moving to Huddersfield - his first club. At the age of 36, Booth retired in 2009 after 8 years back at Huddersfield where he performed decently. But this was, of course, in the lower echelons of English football. Still, if Sir Patrick Stewart loves him he can't have been all bad (apart from at Spurs)... http://youtu.be/PPRgntVzTEQ
