Spurs New Manager: 10 Replacements For Tim Sherwood
10. David Moyes
One man likely to be linked with any job at a club below the top four is the recently dismissed former Manchester United boss David Moyes. Moyes was sacked last month after less than a season in charge of the Old Trafford club, which has seen them end the season in seventh place - their lowest ever Premier League finish - after replacing Sir Alex Ferguson, having been hand-picked by the Scotsman for the job. Moyes had previously been in charge at Everton since 2002 - a stint that saw him win the 2003, 2005 and 2009 League Managers Association Manager of the Year awards - and took them to the Champions League on one occasion (although they didn't get past the qualifying round, having been defeated by Villareal). With Everton being around Tottenham's weight class, having had several closely ran contests with the club in recent seasons, expect Moyes' name to be linked to White Hart Lane in the coming days. His style of football doesn't really suit Spurs, however, and it's unlikely that he'd be either the fans' choice or the Chairman's choice.
