4. Luis Enrique
For weeks prior to today's sacking, throughout Tottenham Hotspur's current turbulent season, Luis Enrique's name has been thrown around as a surprise potential replacement for Andre Villas-Boas. The legendary Spanish midfielder - whose glittering playing career saw him win trophies with both Real Madrid and Barcelona in two spells totalling thirteen years, as well as 62 caps for the Spanish national team (scoring 12 goals) - is currently the manager of La Liga strugglers Celta Vigo, who currently lie in 15th place in Spain's top division. Enrique has previous managerial experience with Barcelona's B Team (overseeing 118 matches with 57 of them victories) and a brief spell with Serie A club AS Roma (winning less than half of his 38 games in charge) - hardly a stellar record for the 43 year old and certainly not a step up for Spurs should he be appointed. That said, he's a young manager whose potential hasn't yet been fully unlocked, and he's certainly a big name thanks to his brilliant playing career, but whether or not he's right for Spurs is certainly open to debate.
