Spurs Poll: Which Loaned-Out Player Will Make The Biggest Impact Next Year?

Who will use their loan spell to earn themselves a place in Spurs' first team?

Not all of Spurs' transfer activity this summer was straightforward buying and selling. A number of players from the club went out on loan to gain more experience, become better players and increase their chances of developing their careers at White Hart Lane in the future. There were ten outgoing loans in total from the club, with the deals ranging from high-profile senior players to budding youngsters with no first team experience. Defender Grant Hall (pictured) joined Birmingham City, midfielder Alex Pritchard joined Brentford, midfielder Kenneth McEvoy joined Peterborough United, striker Shaquile Coulthirst joined Southend United, goalkeeper Jordan Archer joined Northampton Town, defender DeAndre Yedlin - who has just signed for Spurs - rejoined Seattle Sounders, midfielder Tom Carroll joined Swansea City, defender Ryan Fredericks joined Middlesbrough, midfielder Tomislav Gomelt joined Bari and midfielder Lewis Holtby joined Hamburg. All of those deals will see the players out on loan until June of next year, apart from that of Jordan Archer's, which lasts until January. What we want to know is which of those players will come back to White Hart Lane with the best chance of walking straight in to the first team - or at least the first team squad? Andros Townsend and Kyle Walker are two examples of players who went out on loan - to Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa respectively - and used the opportunity to propel themselves in to the Spurs manager's first team plans. Can any of this season's outbound loanees replicate the outcome of Townsend or Walker's loans?
