Tim Sherwood is reportedly keen on the Macedonian international as he seeks to add new faces this month, and views him as an ideal replacement for the outgoing Jermain Defoe. Defoe, as mentioned, is joining MLS side Toronto FC and his departure will leave Spurs somewhat threadbare up front for the remainder of the season. Pandev has scored six Serie A goals for Napoli this season helping to fire the Italian side up to third in the table, and is his country's all-time top scorer with 26 goals.
