Spurs Transfers: 10 DREAM Signings Tim Sherwood Could Make

2. Dimitar Berbatov (Fulham)

Could former Tottenham star Dimitar Berbatov be about to make a dramatic return to White Hart Lane? Berbatov left Spurs for Manchester United in 2008 for £30.75 million, a fee that was, until quite recently, a club-record for the Old Trafford club. Tottenham didn't want to sell at the time and may be reunited with the Bulgarian before the end of the week, according to the Metro. The London club have apparently offered Berbatov's current club, Fulham, £1 million as they hope to re-sign their former forward before Friday's deadline. Spurs fans may have mixed feelings about this given Berbatov left them in the lurch six years ago but there's little questioning he would improve their forward line for the remainder of the season. Berbatov scored 46 goals in 102 appearances for Tottenham before moving on to United in a big-money move.
