The only player on this list who is currently plying his trade in the Premier League, Nani came to symbolize frustration and inconsistently which drew speculation of his departure from Old Trafford. Previously,
Arsenal and Galatasaray have been linked with the Portuguese winger, however that has died down somewhat, but with David Moyes leaving him out of the team during their pre-season tour in Asia, it may be time for the 26 year old to start afresh. Should Nani decide his future lies elsewhere, then Spurs need to fight off competition from the two clubs mentioned above, as well as PSG, who have thrown their hat into the ring to secure his services. Whoever does secure his signature will hopefully want to revel in his flamboyance and skill (hopefully in moderation) and marvel at his 25-30 yard screamers and his link up play with his team mates, and not to bemoan his perceived selfishness, overflamboyance and inconsistent form, as he has displayed both sides while in England. A £12-15 million bid could see him exit Old Trafford, less than the
£17 million it took to take him there, but David Moyes and United chief executive Ed Woodward will make sure that any potential loss on their asset isn't too sharp.
