3. Jordan Rhodes

When Jordan Rhodes signed for Blackburn Rovers for
around £8 million, it was surely with the intention of helping to fire them straight back in to the Premier League - a league in which a striker of Rhodes' quality will surely end up playing. However, it hasn't panned out that way, and Blackburn look unlikely to make that speedy return to the top flight and Rhodes might be looking to move on sooner than he anticipated. Rhodes is still performing admirably, however, despite Blackburn's relatively poor season. He has scored 19 goals in 30 league appearances and established himself in Scotland's senior squad (with a record of 1 goal every 2 games) and has looked very impressive. He's only 23 and can only get better too. One would like to think that, if a player like Rhodes was signed, it would be
as well as a bigger name as opposed to
instead of, as he may not be ready to immediately make an impact, but a young prolific striker of Rhodes' potential should definitely not be overlooked.
