3. Diego Capel
The Sporting Lisbon winger is a long-term target for Tottenham, who first showed an interest in the 25-year-old
back in 2008. Spurs were linked with the Spain international and made a failed £12.5 million bid for the then-20-year-old and ultimately missed out when Capel decided to join Lisbon. However, the north London club were
linked with him again back in March and could make yet another attempt to acquire his services should they lose out on Willian. Lisbon are desperate to raise funds and offered the left-footed winger for just £5 million just a few months ago, which represents a bargain. Capel scored 4 league goals in 26 appearances last season and has been capped by his country 61 times at youth level and twice for the senior side.
