Brazilian attacking midfielder Diego would add experience, trickery and quality to the Spurs team; his form for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga this season has certainly been eye catching. The player has made over 400 appearances in all competitions, and has had a varied career playing in Brazil, Portugal, Germany and Italy. His form at times has also led to him making 33 appearances, scoring four goals for Brazil between 2003 and 2008. Every player in this list so far has the ability to play in a range of different attacking midfield roles, and Diego is no exception to this. In terms of this season, he has had 2.5 shots, 2.4 key passes and five dribbles per match. However, the results of this hasn€™t been massive so far with three goals and two assists from his 14 league appearances. South American players are known for their flair and maybe that is one of the things that is missing from the Spurs team this season, so Diego could hold the key to allow the team to challenge right at the sharp end.
