5. Alan Dzagoev
The young Russian has been on Andre Villas-Boas wishlist since
last August and has since re-emerged as a potential target this summer,
according to reports. The 22-year old attacking midfielder has put in numerous impressive performances at current club CSKA Moscow, where he has scored 44 goals in 176 appearances since beginning his professional career in 2008. He is valued highly by CSKA, who are reluctant to sell their prized asset and have even slapped a £20 million price tag on the youngster's head to ward off potential suitors, but that is not deterring Villas-Boas, who is keen to add some more creativity to his side in a bid to finally clinch Champions League qualification next season. Following a successful debut season in the Russian Premier League, he won the award for Best Young Player in 2009 and has previously hinted he could leave Russia this summer.
