2. Samuel Umtiti (Lyon)

Every Spurs supporter should remember Samuel Umtiti from when their beloved club faced his club, Olympique Lyonnais, in the knockout stages of the 2012-2013 Europa League. The 19 year old is a French U21 international who scored an absolute belter at White Hart Lane from the edge of the box with his left foot as his side lost 2-1. He is expected to become a fully-fledged French international sooner rather than later and he can also play at centre back when called upon to do so. He has already garnered interest from Spurs, as well as Newcastle United and Italian giants AC Milan, who were strongly tipped to sign him over the summer. If Spurs were to sign the defender, they would have a versatile player who would be ready to push Rose to his limits immediately.
