10. Ben Davies - Swansea City (Left Back)
Nigel French/EMPICS SportSpurs are undoubtedly desperate for a left back. Last season, with Benoit Assou-Ekotto out on loan (a man who, after his World Cup headbutting exploits, probably won't be heading back to White Hart Lane), they only had Danny Rose as a senior left back - and he's just not good enough for a club with top four aspirations. Jan Vertonghen and Kyle Naughton were forced to cover the position when Rose was injured - with Vertonghen being capable, but his absence from the centre back position weakening Spurs, and with Naughton being a natural right back - which wasn't exactly convenient. Ben Davies is said to be the prime target. It certainly sounds like a realistic proposition and Spurs are said to have already opened talks. We wait with baited breath to see if the move happens.
