Steve McClaren Aiming For Reunion With Former Liverpool Winger At Newcastle

Tom Ince could be on the move yet again.

Tom Ince could be on the move once again as the winger readies himself for talks with Hull City about his future. Newcastle United and Derby County are both looking to sign the 23-year-old, who is hoping to leave the KC Stadium following the Tigers' relegation to the Championship. Sky Sports claim that Magpies head coach Steve McClaren is hoping to lure Ince to St James' Park, with the former England Under-21 international having impressed under the ex-Three Lions boss at the iPro Stadium last season.
The Rams themselves also retain an interest in Ince, who has already played for seven different clubs during his short career. Ince has long been linked with a transfer to Tyneside - and he even spoke to Magpies officials after leaving Blackpool at the end of the 2013-14 season. Son of former England captain Paul Ince, the winger scored 11 goals in 18 Championship appearances at Derby under McClaren's guidance last season. Having risen through the Liverpool youth ranks, Ince was loaned to Notts County before moving permanently to Blackpool. Impressive performances at The Tangerines, where he was named Football League Young Player of the Year for 2012-13, and on loan at Crystal Palace saw a fight for his signature but Ince opted to move to Hull last summer, although he was loaned to both Nottingham Forest and Derby in 2014-15. To date, Ince has netted 48 goals in 167 career appearances. For all the latest NUFC News, Views and Transfers make sure to follow whatculture.com/NUFC on Twitter and Facebook.
