Stoke Transfers: 10 Championship Players The Potters Should Buy

8. Jordan Rhodes (Huddersfield)

Valuation- 5-7 Million With worries over Daniel Sturridge€™s health, the on standby Jordan Rhodes may get the Olympic call up of his dreams. With that and his stellar performance last season, the 22 year old must be on the radar of a plethora of Premier League teams. At 6 feet 2 inches and a force in the air, Rhodes would seem an ideal player to grace the Britannia Stadium. However with interest from Villa, Fulham and Everton it would seem that Stoke would have a battle on their hands if they wish to sign the young forward. However if I were Tony Pulis, with the likely departure of Kenwyne Jones and the aging Peter Crouch, I would move fast to capture this perfect capture for the future.

9. Steven Fletcher (Wolves)

Valuation- 8-10 Million At 6 foot 1, Fletcher would also seem a great addition to the Stoke strike force. I really rated Fletcher for Burnley and was disappointed when Wolves captured him. After a solid season in a poor Wolves side, now may be the ideal time to capture the forward. A massive problem however would be his price tag; with Wolves paying a club record 7 Million for him in 2010 they are unlikely to want to sell him for any less than that. Stoke have already shown interest in the forward and so all that remains is whether Tony is willing to spend the money required, particularly after splashing out on Peter Crouch last summer.
