Sunderland 0-0 Norwich: Player Ratings

Norwich City Player Ratings

John Ruddy Was probably let off by Sunderland's poor attacking performance, but a good game at the end of the day for the England keeper. 7/10Steven Whitaker Sloppy and fiery game for the Scot, picked up a yellow card in the process. Another one let off by Sunderland's performance. 6/10Michael Turner Did well on his return to The Stadium of Light, gave away a silly corner in the second half but not a bad performance. 7/10Sebastian Bassong Kept Altidore at bay and was hands down the best Norwich player of the day. Good solid performance from the 27 year old. 8/10 Martin Olsson Wasn't tested enough by Giaccherini, but liked to get forward a lot. 7/10Leroy Fer Forgot he was playing in the first half but improved a little in the second, worked well with Johnson at times. 6/10Bradley Johnson Was restricted from the freedom he is used to and looked a bit lost. Not his best match. 6/10Robert Snodgrass Was called upon by his defense later on in the game due to Sunderland's surge so similar to Johnson, was unable to show his capabilities. However, did play well to keep Sunderland away from goal. 7/10Nathan Redmond Had the best chance on goal for Norwich early on but couldn't produce much else. 6/10Gary Hooper Showed his true potential like he has in recent weeks but was kept out by the Sunderland defence. 7/10Johan Elmander Looked lively but never looked like scoring, eventually taken off for Ricky Van Wolfswinkel. 6/10 Were you at the match?
