Sunderland have confirmed on the loan signing of defender Ondrej Celustka from Turkish side Trabzonspor. The news was made official via the club's website

However now it has now been confirmed that the Sunderland boss has finally made progress in signing a full-back though, though full details of the move have not yet been released. Celustka played for Slavia Prague and Palermo before he made the move east to Turkey, where he has spent the last two seasons. The Black Cats kick-off their season at home to Fulham on Saturday and with Craig Gardner suspended, it looks possible that the Czech Republic international will head straight into the starting line-up.
