The big surprise is in the inclusion of Sunderland striker Fraizer Campbell, who has only just come back from injury for the Wearsiders and has two goals to his name since his return to the side last month. Though one of those goals was an absolute wonder strike against Norwich. Campbell seems to have been preferred over Liverpool's mega signing Andy Carroll who has struggled for goals this season, and the Black Cats forward has earnt his first ever call-up. Elsewhere, Steven Gerrard is back in the England squad for the first time since November 2010's friendly against France, Micah Richards returns to the squad, along with Tom Cleverley who is selected again having just recovered from injury and is looking for his first Senior England cap.
