Swansea vs Man Utd - 5 Key Battles

4. Patrice Evra Vs Nathan Dyer/ Wayne Routledge

Manchester United's interest in Everton's Leighton Baines is well documented, having had a bid in the region of £12 million rejected for the left-back. Evra will be fully aware of this, and will therefore want to convince the gaffer that he can still be relied upon as United's first-choice left-back. Make no mistake, Swansea's wide men will pose a stern test for United's number 3. In particular, it is likely that he will come up against Nathan Dyer and/or Wayne Routledge, both of whom will be quite happy to have Evra turning to chase them into the box. Neither are particularly prolific goalscorers (Dyer managed 3 in 26 league appearances in 2012/13 compared to Routledge's 5 in 36), but if either can get into a position for a ball across the six-yard box, it could spell disaster for the Red Devils.
