Before anyone heads down to the comments to complain, Kyle Walker is a right back BUT he is no stranger to playing centrally in a back three and was deployed as such at the 2018 World Cup.

If you do want a more natural centre-half in this position, then Rio Ferdinand is your man but given Walker's price-tag he had to be included.

Walker was already a class defender and England regular, when he moved from Tottenham Hotspur to Manchester City in 2017. Under Pep Guardiola's management, he has taken his game to another level, helping City toward two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and three League Cups, so far.

Despite consistently putting in strong performances, he has often been outshone by his younger counterparts. That and some questionable off-field antics, have resulted in Walker losing his place in the national side to Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kieran Trippier.

Still, Walker will always be remembered for being one of the first defenders who commanded an obscene transfer fee, which helped pave the way for incredibly inflated player prices.
