Position: Attacking Midfield Playmaker Club: Sochaux Probable Value: £8m If Luka Modric does indeed disappear for a new club, Spurs could do a lot worse than to look at want-away attacking midfielder Marvin Martin, who has reportedly offered a come and get me plea to both Spurs and Arsenal. Martin may be small, but his skill and pace make him an eye-catching prospect, and the relatively low price needed to prize him away from Sochaux makes him even more attractive. With Modric possibly moving on, the new Spurs boss will need to find someone to pull the strings in the midfield, and Martin would be the perfect foil to the more combatant style of Scott Parker.
