5. Silva Wants To Suck Sonnen's Blood

According to Ariel Helwani, Wanderlei Silva contacted him following Sonnen's demoralising loss to Jon Jones. He stated that Jones and Anderson Silva were too nice in their victories over Sonnen. He wants to simply hurt Sonnen and suck his blood. Then followed up by saying he would even smell his blood. He finished off the bizarre tangent by saying Sonnen will be second forever. I'm not sure if an explanation is necessary for those comments. There have been several head-scratching quotes in between heated feuds. That quote may have surpassed any controversial quote. This could have been an attempt to make Sonnen fearful of him. Silva has shown in the past that he likes to use intimidating ploys to gain a mental advantage. Regardless of what his objective may be by making those statements, he created controversy.
