2. Holly Holm Will Fight For The Inaugural FW Title, But Not Against Cyborg

After continuously proclaiming that there wasn't enough talent to comprise a women's featherweight division, the UFC has done a 180 and created one. The champion will be determined at UFC 208 as former women's bantamweight champion Holly Holm takes on Germaine de Randamie in a very surprising matchup.

Holly Holm is on a two fight skid, and outside of her victory over Rousey has never looked anything other than mediocre. She's an alright fighter with a solid skillset, but that win had people convinced she was the next big thing, and she's been exposed as the beneficiary of a great gameplan mixed with an opponent whose ego was redlining. The fact that someone who is winless in their last two is fighting for a belt is a little hard to swallow, but not nearly as difficult as the fact that neither woman in the cage is named Cyborg.

Germaine de Randamie is 7-3, with a 3-1 UFC record, her only loss in the company coming at the hands of current 135 lb champ Amanda Nunes. She's more deserving of the shot than Holm, but the idea that Cristiane Justine is not in this fight is ridiculous. She's 17-1 - with that sole loss being in her first fight - hasn't been defeated in over a decade, and has only gone to the judges twice. She's the most dominant female fighter of all-time and would be favored against anyone she fought,

So why isn't she in the match?

She's the Invicta featherweight champion and her only two UFC bouts took place at a catchweight of 140 pounds because they didn't have any featherweights to fight her, yet all of a sudden there's an entire division with a title and challengers and she's nowhere to be found.

Personally I think the UFC is banking on both Holm and Rousey winning their title fights, then pulling a Conor McGregor with Rousey and hoping she moves up and defeats Holm, which will lead to the biggest WMMA fight of all-time between her and Cyborg.

Which will end in Ronda Rousey getting beat into retirement.
