West Brom: 5 Reasons They Will Be Relegated This Season

This season has not been kind to West Brom, after they excelled last season by finishing in the top eight of the Premier League. A slow start to the season saw Steve Clarke sacked, which did seem harsh considering how well he did for the team the previous season. Pepe Mel has since become the club€™s new permanent manager. The theme of this slideshow is to look and the reasons why West Brom could still find themselves in trouble despite the managerial change. The Baggies lay 17th in the table at the time of writing, level on points with Sunderland who are currently stranded in the relegation zone. As always, this will be a considered review that will incorporate strong opinions alongside those all-important stats from Who Scored. As mentioned in previous articles, the bottom of the table is tight and it€™s tough job trying to pick the teams that will go down. Of course, I could easily be wrong €“ but then many of the leading pundits have been wrong this season. So, without further ado, let€™s see what we can dig up to suggest that the Baggies will be playing Championship football next season.
