West Brom: 5 Reasons They Will Be Relegated This Season
4. Their Manager Doesn't Have Enough EPL Experience
Lets talk a little about the managerial appointment of Pepe Mel; he is an experienced manager that has a good reputation from Spanish football. However, to the best of my knowledge, Mel has no knowledge of expertise of the Premier League. Of course, some people may not feel that matters much, and I can certainly understand that viewpoint. After all, managers have performed well in the past despite not previously managing in the EPL. However, I think it largely depends on the shape that the club is in when the manager arrives. The problem that the Baggies have is that they are in trouble, and could really could do with leadership familiar with the league in order to get out of trouble. The further problem that Mel has is that the transfer window is now closed, so he has to work with a squad that hasnt been assembled by him, and may not contain the players that he would ideally like.
