West Ham: 5 Managerial Replacements For Sam Allardyce

Woeful West Ham's FA Cup mauling at the hands of Nottingham Forest has left manager Sam Allardyce on the brink at Upton Park, according to the sack race. The 5-0 3rd round defeat on Sunday was the Hammer's worst in the third round since way back in 1926 and compounded what has already been a truly miserable season so far. West Ham are currently a point and a place off the foot of the Premier League table with the relegation-haunted side win-less in their last five games in all competitions. Tonight they face Manchester City in the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-finals and another demoralising defeat could lead to Allardyce getting the boot, regardless of the fact the club's owners only this week issued a vote of confidence. Allardyce's odds of becoming the next topflight coaching casualty have tumbled in recent weeks to 2/5, making him the bookmaker's outright favourite for the chop. Already this season the Premier League has witnessed six changes at the helm with Ian Holloway, Paolo Di Canio, Martin Jol, Steve Clarke, Andre Villas-Boas and Malky Mackay leaving their posts. And with the likelihood of Allardyce becoming the seventh sacking of the season, we take a look at 5 managerial replacements for the Englishman. Click "Next" to begin.
